Born and raised in Memphis, Dr. Paul Deaton is proud to care for patients in the community he calls home. He graduated from Rhodes College and earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He completed his internal medicine residency and pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Deaton has volunteered with the Wolf River Conservancy for many years. Outside of medicine, he enjoys kayaking, fly fishing, hiking, and ballroom dancing.
